Our 90-day money-back guarantee is for umbrella purchases made through our website only, starting from the date of order. Please note that to be eligible for a refund your item must not have physical damage to it caused by improper use.

2 Year Manufacturer Warranty

Your Gilley umbrella has a 2-year guarantee
commencing from the date of purchase. Our guarantee will cover free of charge any product faults, defects, and irregularities. It does not include damage due to improper use.

This guarantee does not affect your rights under statutory law.

Gilley is windproof up to 40mph - as tested in an indoor skydiving facility and with commercial grade leaf blowers. Check our socials!

One handle just doesn't do it for us, so we decided to give you two as standard:

1) A regular sized umbrella handle, and 2) the case which screws onto the regular sized handle to create a longer, ergonomic handle.

The whole point of Gilley is to put the umbrella straight back into the case for unparalleled storage and convenience.

There's a hydrophobic coating on the canopy, meaning most of the water slides off before you store it away & a microfibre cap on top of the canopy to soak up any excess moisture.

However, like anything that gets damp, we do recommend airing a damp umbrella when convenient. Preferably within 24 hours of use.

98cm diameter, about the same as a regular sized umbrella canopy. Enough to keep a human sized person nice and dry.

Gilley is smaller, lighter and more compact than a typical 500ml reusable water bottle - you'll forget it's even there (until it rains).

For the specifics, the case is 25.5cm x 5.5cm and weighs 400g with the umbrella (about the same as other similar sized umbrellas).

Yes! We've slimmed it down and also wrapped it in a silicone that feels nice to touch and is grippy.

Our focus has been sustainability through durability - produce something once that will last for years. We've opted for high-quality, durable materials like an infinitely recyclable stainless steel protective case over plastic to achieve this longevity. One Gilley saves 5kg of umbrella material waste. Since the packaging is short lived, it is biodegradable.

It's hard for individuals to recycle umbrellas because they would have to separate all of the materials, which in practice rarely every happens. So, most umbrellas break or are lost and then end up in the landfill.

We have an in-house recycling programme, are certified carbon neutral and are in the process of becoming a b-corp.

We're constantly expanding the number of countries we ship to and are able to offer free delivery to many of those.
